Home Remodeling in Auburn, CA
In the Sierra foothills, Auburn homes range from Gold Rush–era character houses to hillside homes with big views. We help them look and work their best.
Remodeling for Auburn homes
Auburn projects often combine interior and exterior work: wood and cedar accents, decks and outdoor seating, updated bathrooms and kitchens, and warm finish carpentry with wood beams and stained trim.
Every Auburn project is led by owner Maks Apanovich and built by our in-house finish carpentry crew. We are based in Antelope, about 35 minutes from Auburn, which means responsive scheduling, on-time arrivals and a contractor who is close by long after the project is finished.

From this project“We couldn’t be happier with how our entryway and formal living room turned out. The finished project completely transformed our home and exceeded our expectations in every way. From the clean panel work to the flawless paint finish and overall design, everything came together beautifully. Maks and Abel, Alex, and Axel did an absolutely immaculate job. Their attention to detail was second to none, and it really showed in the final product. They were punctual on timing every day, respectful of our home, and clearly take pride in their work.”
“I was fortunate enough to find Maks from Primespec Construction to redo my 3 bathrooms. He took them from the bland look of the 1960s and 70s and made them spectacular. His workmanship and attention to detail can’t be beaten.”
