PrimeSpec Construction is a licensed remodeling contractor based in Antelope, California. Owner Maks Apanovich started the company with a simple idea: treat every home as if it were our own and finish every detail as if the homeowner will inspect it from six inches away.
From finish carpentry to full remodels
Our roots are in finish carpentry — the wainscoting, board & batten, crown molding and coffered ceilings that take a house from builder-grade to custom. That trade teaches you patience and precision: a panel layout is either balanced or it isn’t, a miter is either tight or it isn’t.
Over time, homeowners kept asking us to take on more: the bathroom down the hall, the kitchen that needed new life, the exterior that no longer matched the inside. Today PrimeSpec handles bathroom, kitchen, full interior and exterior remodeling — but we still approach every project with a finish carpenter’s eye.
When you hire PrimeSpec, you work directly with Maks from the first walkthrough to the final punch list, together with a small, dedicated in-house crew. No hand-offs to strangers, no guessing who is showing up on Monday.
